Wow. What a crazy few weeks it has been!
Vacation was completely amazing. Flying with the twins was much easier than I thought it would be. David's folks said they did great with them. Slept well, napped, ate, played, and were generally pretty happy. Of course we knew Paige would do fine, and she did. Honestly, there wasn't anything that wasn't wonderful about this trip.
We had a layover in Dallas on the way to Austin:
And had to share a high chair at Moe's
I only took a few pictures on vacation. I get annoyed with people holding up walkers on the strip taking pictures of all the hotels, in front of statues, and fountains, etc...so I would never be one of those.
We shopped, ate, laid at the pool, cocktailed, walked, spa'ed, went to a Cirque, and loved every second of it. I had to pump every 4 hours or so, and it wasn't a big deal at all. And the boys nursed easily when I saw them on Sunday. It was like we were never apart.
LOL
Paige was SO happy to see us when we got home. There is truly nothing in this life like hearing your child yell, "MOMMY!" and run toward you smiling and laughing.
We promised ourselves we wouldn't shop for the kids. We always buy things for them and decided we would just treat ourselves for a change. Well, that lasted about 15 minutes. We couldn't resist! Here is one of Paige's new ensembles:
