WEEKEND is here!

Kicking off the weekend right - first, with a great nights sleep!

Then, a little trip to the gym to make room for weekend calories ; )

Of course a trip to the park on a beautiful day!

What is more fun than playing in the leaves?  NOTHING, according to the Griffith trio.

Oh, well one thing might be more fun...and that would be playing ring around the rosie in the leaves.

How often do I thank God for the love between my children?  Every day.  Every chance I think of it.

We prayed and prayed for a baby, and of course we were thrilled and thankful when she came along.  But what happened when we gave her brothers - build-in playmates, someone to love and to love you back...well that was just on whole new level of thankfulness.

Being a mom is my greatest pleasure.  However, I need to be something other than "just" a mom from time to time, so the husband is taking me out on a date night tonight!  He asked me where I wanted to go, and I said, "anywhere I can get a margarona!" (frozen margarita with a corona poured inside.  Be still, my heart.)

I was excited to resume my weekly date day with Paige!  It is such a blessing to get 5 hours with just us.  We had a cookie date:

Such a little love she is.  She has been very attached to me lately  When she wakes up in the morning, she only wants me to hold her, she won't get in our bed if I'm not in it.  When she cries, she only wants me.  This is a major switch from how she normally is.  I know preschoolers are fickle little creatures, so I'm enjoying this extra Paige love while it lasts.

A special Christmas gift I got in the mail yesterday ; )  Can't wait to break them open!

David and I had such a great time at the OU/OSU bedlam game.  I can honestly say that was the best football game I have seen in years.  And I go to pretty much all of them.  So, so exciting, and that ending was crazy, emotional - and turned out in our favor.  I love being a Sooner!

I welcomed a friend to the stay-at-home-mom world recently!  What better place to take her than the mall! SAHM haven!

And we got our tree up this past weekend!

So blessed to be kicking off this holiday season with my family of 5.  Couldn't be happier.

With the weather turning colder, we are playing inside more and more.  We are expecting warm weather again this weekend, thank goodness - but looks like we better get used to spending our days in the playroom!  Good thing the boys got lots of fun toys for their birthday!
