Busy weekend

This weekend was non-stop! We decided to take the bug outside for some baby pool time. We only lasted an hour tops because it is too dang hot! But we had fun while we were out there!

Saturday was crazy! We had Gymboree while daddy golfed in the morning. Then, in the afternoon, we decided to make some progress for these boys! We went and ate lunch, then to a boutique in town that sells the rocking chairs I like. We BOUGHT one!!! : ) I am so excited for it to come in. The fabric we chose is green with brown polka dots (no - I will not give up polka dots even though I am having boys!). So adorable. It won't be in for 8-10 weeks, though.

My fabulous parents are buying us our cribs and dresser (how blessed are we??) and we are going to look on Tuesday and hope to have them ordered by the end of the month.

David and I also went and test drove cars on Saturday. We have decided we are going to get a Yukon XL. Man, that is a big car! But it will accommodate our family of 5 very nicely! We are trying right now to decide when the best time to purchase that will be.

Then Saturday night, we went to my niece, Ava's birthday party! Ava turned 2.

Then Sunday morning, we woke up and went to breakfast at my favorite breakfast place in town. I got pancakes and biscuits and gravy : )

Sunday afternoon, we rested, napped, then headed out to another birthday party! Paige's buddy, Chad, turned one!

Whew! Everyone in the Griffith house is tired after this long and hot weekend! But we had fun!

Not quite ready to take on Monday - but I guess we don't have a choice!
