visit to Denver

Paige and I took a girls' weekend this past weekend to visit a dear friend who moved to Denver.  We have missed them terribly, but they are doing so great there, it is hard to not be happy for them!

We took off at 11 - and had to grab a snack for the plane!

Landed safely!  Ready to go see our friends!   Her husband picked us up at the airport.

After a 40 minute drive...this is what I got to see : )

That first night, Tia and I took the 2 girls out to dinner.  Such fun we had!

Then we made a visit to the grocery to get supplies for a little princess birthday party (for whom?  anyone's guess).

and to ride the penny horse.

Saturday, Zac stayed with the girls (bless him!) and Tia and I, along with another friend who has moved there, walked into town and ate brunch (champagne?  absolutely!).

We had been trying the whole time to get the girls to nap together, but it just wasn't happening.  Both girls got naps Saturday, which were desperately needed, but it wasn't together ; )  I took Paige down to the park right by their house, then we got dressed and went out to dinner again.

We didn't have to leave until 2 Sunday, so we took advantage!  Brunch, walk all over the town, bakery visit...

And then it was back on the plane to go home.

Paige was the perfect angel on the flight, both coming and going.  We met David and the boys for dinner when we got in, then back to normal routine!

Paige and Logan are friends for life, of this I am certain.  They are very blessed.  Perfect weekend from start to finish.
