Well, it happened

The planets aligned and created the perfect storm. David had to work late (he is still at the office now) and all my helpers were otherwise engaged. I was alone from sun up to sun down with the three wee ones.

Here is how our day went:

I woke at 7:40 (yes, I know this is lucky)
Pumped
Got Paige up and made her breakfast
Got the boys up and brought everyone back to my room
Fed the boys their bottle while Paige ate and watched Caillou

Tummy time for the boys, play with Paige - I got dressed

Drive to the post office then Target (boys nap in the car)

Take the boys in the double snap n go and Paige held my hand in Target, did some shopping and looking

Come home, lunch for Paige and me, boys play in jumpers

Nurse the boys

Play time on the floor for boys, read books, sing ABCs, practice colors and counting with Paige

Nurse Jack down for his nap, put him in his crib - nurse Braley down and put him in his crib

Rock Paige down for her nap

Re-swaddle Jack when he wakes and nurse him back down - move Braley to his swing when he fusses

Run upstairs and do the elliptical for 30 minutes, answer a few emails, quick shower

Boys wake up - nurse Jack then Braley

Paige gets up

Make dinner

Paige and I eat dinner

Quick walk in the neighborhood for some fresh air

Bath for boys

Nurse Braley, then Jack

Bath for Paige (bring boys in bouncy seats with me)

Nurse boys down for the night

Rock Paige down for the night

Re-swaddle and rock Braley

Done. Hopefully.

I thought I would feel empowered after doing it all alone. Instead, I am praying it doesn't happen again for quite some time.

Wow! Way to go! Empowered or thankful you survived and praying you don't have to do it again for a long time....you did it!

I feel that way after tackling a day with my nearly 1 year old twins and though I'm 20 weeks pregnant with #3.....it's just the two of them now.

Super Mom...you're awesome! I'm sure it was a long day but how great that you were able to get out the house with them and more than once.

And had a quick question...in your post below I noticed Paige's play kitchen...its so cute...where is it from? I'm starting to look for one. Thanks:)
