The big 3-0

This weekend has come and gone in a flash, and I hate that!  We celebrated the head of the Griffith clan turning 30!  It hit me that I remember David's 20th birthday.  Has it been 10 years since we met?

In 10 years, we both graduated college, got engaged, got jobs, got married, built a house, countless cycles of fertility treatments, 2 IVFs, 2 pregnancies, 2 c-sections, 2 additional major surgeries for me, David got his MBA, we have traveled to Hawaii, Las Vegas, Alaska, New York - to name a few, and we are raising 3 kids.  That is a lot of life packed into 10 years, no?  I can't wait to see what is in store for our next 10!

Saturday, the birthday boy headed out early to play golf.  The kids and I pulled the water table under the patio and were able to play outside for a few hours!

Summer snack!

Saturday night, we had a dinner party at one of his favorite restaurants, then David and I went alone to see the batman movie.  We had such a fun and special night.

Sunday, we went to church and lunch, came home for naps, then woke up and went to the swimming pool!  Came home for cake and pizza...

My homemade cake : )  I get an A for effort, right??  It was actually really good!!

Yes, we make Paige sit in her high chair when she eats pizza and cake.  Girlfriend is messy.

After singing to daddy and eating cake, we went down to my grandparents.  Bless them, they got the kids this little baby pool.  Of course you know the Griffith kids and they stripped down and jumped right in!

Amazing weekend celebrating David with our family and friends!
