Lazy Day

Paige and I have nothing planned for today, which is nice. No doctors appointments = a good day for me!

We may venture out to the mall later this afternoon. I am on the hunt for a fabulous fall-scented candle, but don't know where to look. I love expensive candles, but I don't want to spend $60 today on something that I am going to light on fire. SO - what are your favorite fall candles that won't get me in trouble with my hubby?

Pregnancy updates: another fantastic NST yesterday. The L&D nurses love me because my babies never give them any trouble. My itching has gone from bad to worse. The prescription pill she gave me isn't cutting it at all. I talked with her briefly when I was at the hospital yesterday and she was adamant that I give it until Tuesday to become effective. If I am still clawing my skin off then, she will prescribe oral steroids.

I can't believe we are at the LESS than 3 weeks mark now.

We found and hired our night nannies! There are 4 of them - all NICU nurses at Children's. They will rotate based on their schedules. It will work out perfectly, and we are so happy to have this settled now. Since David is able to take off work until after the Thanksgiving holiday, we will have them start right after that. I know that I can't take care of my toddler and 2 newborns on no sleep, so I am very happy to have this awesome help!

I hope everyone has a great Halloween weekend!

Don't forget to give me your candle recs!

My favorite is Pumpkin Spice by Yankee. You can get it at Bed Bath and Beyond and use a 20% off coupon :) You are doing great making it this far into your pregnancy. I know how hard this time is. I cried everyday until I delivered at 37 weeks because I was in so much pain. Hang in there! Yay, on the night time help! That will make a huge difference!! Happy candle shopping.

My favorites are PUMPKIN PIE by Yankee Candle (Bed, Bath & Beyond, it has a picture of a piece of pumpkin pie on the front and is about $25 for the big jar) and CREAMY PUMPKIN (Bath & Body Works, has a white/greenish pumpkin on the front,$20 for the big jar)Really, I love SO MANY of the bath and body works candles, there fall selection is excellent and they burn for a long time and the scent is nice and strong!

I know it is not a fall scent but right now I am LOVING the clean linen candle from bed bath and body works. I think its Slatkin and Co. It smells sooo fresh and clean and keeps my up stairs smelling nice even when its not lit. Good luck with those boys!

I always buy our candles at HomeGoods - I can get expensive candles for super cheap!

And, disregard my email about your night nanny - I didn't read the blog before I hit send!

I was just telling my hubby that I wanted some new holiday smelling candles! My favorite brand is Circle E candles. They sell them at boutiques or I think they have a website! They have a ton of scents & I need to see what they have for holidays...but the three scents I usually have anytime during the year are OrangeVanilla, Birds of Paridise, and Fresh Cake! They smell awesome and really last!
